Bill has more than 20 years of C-Suite experience across a number of companies with a focus on fintech, transaction processing, SaaS, and software development and services. He has been associated with Sopris Capital since 2004, currently serving as CEO of Sopris Capital Holdings and President and CEO of two portfolio companies, Quovant and OfficeWorks. Bill has served as CEO and successfully led the turnaround and sale of Healthcare Data Solutions, Truist, and Valutec Card Solutions, and he has held executive leadership positions at PeopleNet Corporation and First Data Corporation. Prior to these companies, Bill held various management positions at IBM for nine years. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and serves as a director on multiple boards.
Michael leads Quovant’s managed services team and also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Sopris Capital Holdings. Prior to joining Quovant, Michael practiced law in the Nashville office of Butler Snow LLP where his practice emphasized financial services and payment companies, including payment and spend management systems, data security, and privacy. He previously held various executive roles at Ceridian Corporation, including interim president of Ceridian’s subsidiary, Comdata Network. Michael is a licensed attorney in Tennessee, and is a member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance and the American, Tennessee, and Nashville Bar Associations. He holds a bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and a doctor of jurisprudence degree, with honors, from the University of Tennessee.
Todd leads Quovant’s product and technology team and also serves as Chief Information Officer of Sopris Capital Holdings. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Product Strategy and Growth for the North American Trucking Division of FleetCor, where he was responsible for the development of growth related strategies and overseeing delivery on key initiatives including the penetration of new markets and the introduction of new products and services. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Operations Officer for Comdata, where he managed a global delivery team and was responsible for delivering end-to-end technology and operating services across the enterprise. Todd has also held leadership roles at Electronic Data Systems, Inc., Navigator Systems, and Arthur Andersen. Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information and Operations Management from Texas A&M University.
Joe is a law department business and technology leader with more than two decades of experience focused on optimizing legal and risk departments and changing the way law firms and law departments work together. A tireless advocate for standardization, metrics, analytics and efficiencies, Joe has led sales teams of software companies that focus on managing the business of law. Joe’s experience includes executive business development leadership positions at organizations offering Enterprise Legal Management solutions to the Fortune 2000 globally, helping technology companies to evolve their products and grow their business. He frequently speaks on the business of law, risk department optimization, data analysis and reporting, and legal technology. Joe holds a B.S. with Honors from University of London.
